Inside Pg. 1

Booboo - A Calypso tune popularized by Harry Belafonte. Thought this one was about an ugly clam, until we dug up the words from Vinny Farsetta.

Going Through the Motions - A “Leopard Skin Slim” composition with words that sound good together. It’s all about being in the moment.

Head Bag - Joe made up a great Zydeco progression and Vince rerouted it into a tune about urban frustration. The title should be pronounced like “Hot Dog.”

Whiskey Before Breakfast / Over the Waterfall - Traditional Irish tunes that everybody picks in the Bluegrass culture. This proves the “older the tune the harder they slam” theorem we’ve discovered through live shows.

Bridges of Time - The first day in the studio was chaos - Joe wasn’t - so he recorded this great opus to Bert. It bridges the tomorrow with the yesterday.

Nothing But Time - This song originated as a note tacked on a door. Times have changed and life is good now. Hope you enjoy it.

Tu n’as pas Aller - Vince’s attempt to write a Cjun tune while driving all night through the high Colorado plains. Proves you don’t need to speak French to write it.

Pasta on the Mountain - Quit your job - head to the mountains -  live off of the land - bridge that Bert. With apologies to the Grateful Dead.

Just Before the Evening - Country Reggae tune by Drew also available on the Left Hand String Band release, “Get Me Outta This City.” Sunset on the Front Range can be heard in Renee Emmitt’s harmony vocal.

Dark Eyes - Traditional Yiddish tune dug up by Joachim. Proves that accordion is the hip instrument for the 90’s.

Zombie Jamboree - Another Calypso tune via Vinny Farsetta. Ask any Haitian and they’ll tell you “not all fish are good fish.”

Bosco Stumble - Vince learned this one from the late Dewey Balfa. In the “Salmon Way” we start traditionally and proceed to Bert.

Rodeo Geek - A true story of love, lust and mechanical bulls, soon to be a major motion picture. Our thanks to Fred for letting us torture his tune.
